Pat Bare - Firearms Instructor
Pat Bare in West Kelowna, British Columbia is dedicated to responsible firearms safety training, and specializes in all aspects of firearms for beginner to advanced students. Pat offers classroom instruction such as the Canadian Firearms Safety Course (CFSC) and the Canadian Restricted Firearms Safety Course (CRFSC) which prepare people for getting their Possession and Acquisition Licences (PAL) for Non-Restricted and Restricted Firearms. Class size is limited to eight students to ensure that you get the attention and hands on practice you need to pass the tests. The Conservation Outdoor Recreation Education (CORE) program is designed for individuals wishing to obtain their first B.C. resident hunting licence. Itis offered through a partnership agreement with the Ministry of Environment and the British Columbia Wildlife Federation (BCWF).
The program is useful for anyone interested in outdoor recreation, wildlife and firearms safety. The successful completion of the program is required for B.C. residents at age 14 or over who wish to obtain a B.C. resident hunter number card, and a first B.C. resident hunting licence. The BCWF is responsible for CORE program administration, the keeping of graduate records and the public availability of the CORE examinations through a provincial network of certified CORE examiners.
